This is an Objective RPG.
WARNING: This thread assumes you have played through The Shivering Isles DLC and completed Sheogorath's artifact quest in Skyrim. If you haven't, read on at your own risk. There be spoilers ahead!
The story:
A group of travelers stumble across what half claim is nothing more than a root jutting out from the earth. The other half vehemently argue that it must be a Daedric artifact, why else would it glow and sing?
When a flash of light engulfs them all, those who believed it a root buried in the mud saw only lightning. The rest saw a distinguished old man of at least sixty, leaning lazily against the root that was indeed revealed to be an artifact.
The Wabbajack, in fact, one of the most powerful and wildly unpredictable of all the artifacts scattered throughout Tamriel (and much like its master, in that respect). The Daedric Prince of Madness smiles gently before throwing his head back in hearty laughter.
"Look at you lot, starin' like ya never seen an old man before! Close yer gapin' fish-mouths before ya swallow a mud crab or somethin'!" He laughed again before stabbing his unholy staff into the ground. "I've got an idea, now. Let's play a game! Each of ya grab one of yer confused buddies over here and lead 'em through that maze." He gestured behind him grandly. "If ya come across anyone other than yer partner in the maze, ya have to kill'em. The first pair through gets the Wabbajack. Of course, yer partner'll likely be crazier than me by then, so ye'll probably get it all to yer self!" He grinned like a snake before wiggling his fingers in farewell. "Have fun, now."
And then he vanished like smoke, leaving behind a vast maze that held all the nightmares of the confused and the mad within it.
The objective:
Three groups of two players will enter a separate section of the maze. Once inside the maze, you will receive a set of equipment based on your preference. Your section will take on the shape of whatever the confused partner can dream up, and the mad must find a way to navigate through it. The scenery and monsters within can change on the confused partner's whim, so be wary if you were the one that saw Sheogorath.
Every so often, you may run into another pair. This occurrence will be decided by Sheogorath himself. Battles can be decided in chat or automatically based on stats chosen at the beginning of the game. The last pair standing gets the Wabbajack (and bragging rights).
The roles:
The rules:
Character Profile Form: (We'll be using a simplified Skyrim style system.)
Name:
Class: (general: rogue, mage, or warrior)
Perks: (any of the perks from Skyrim at lv 20)
Stats: (Magicka, health, stamina values at lv 20)
Armor preference: clothes (mage), light armor (rogue), or heavy armor (warrior)
Weapon preference: Staff (mage), Bow (rogue), sword (warrior)
Mad or Confused: (if you don't answer, I'll pick for you)
How good are you at making puzzles? Solving puzzles?
Also, here is your new best friend. The Skyrim Wiki.
Disclaimer: This is supposed to be fun. It's not about winning. If you lose, try again next time this thread comes around. I'll never pair you with the same person twice. Each participant will get a prize (flair on your account).
TL;DR Oh, just go and read the damn thing, ya lazy mortal.
EDIT: Simplified some elements. If there's any confusion or questions, please pm me. I don't want unanswered questions to keep people from playing.

Every so often, you may run into another pair. This occurrence will be decided by Sheogorath himself. Battles can be decided in chat or automatically based on stats chosen at the beginning of the game. The last pair standing gets the Wabbajack (and bragging rights).
The roles:
- The Confused - You will create the section of the maze in which you and your partner must navigate. You create the dead ends, the pitfalls, and the creatures. Basically, you are making a puzzle that your partner must figure out. It can be as simple or complex as you like, just make it solvable. If you're having trouble coming up with something, try tapping into your real life fears and nightmares. This will make the experience more "real." You are not against your partner, but that doesn't mean you should go easy on them. You make the maze, they figure it out. Don't just post saying, "Jolf fell off a cliff and died, the end." Be fair.
- The Mad - You will navigate the world your partner creates. You can ask for hints from your partner, but you cannot ask for the solution. Your stats, perks, etc will decide how encounters play out, and only other players can hurt you (monsters are figments of your partner's imagination and thus have no substance).
The rules:
- I am Sheogorath and will act as a "narrator" of sorts.
- Only six players can embark on this quest at this time. Three must be Confused (did not see Sheogorath), and three must be Mad (did see Sheogorath).
- To play, pm me with your stats, perks, and equipment preference. I will pair you with your partner from the information you provide.
- When posting, quote your partner's last post for context (so we can all see what you're doing) using the quote button at the top of the post you want to quote.
- All players will be set at level 20.
- You CANNOT discuss actions with your partner in PM or chat! If you do, know that you are a big fat phony and you should be ashamed of yourself. Is it really winning if you win by cheating?
- BONUS: You have to read all of my posts within this thread in Sheogorath's voice. Here's a reminder from Oblivion, in case you forgot. And here's one from Skyrim.

How good are you at making puzzles? Solving puzzles?
- I will give you the best equipment obtainable at lv 20.
- Remember, the equipment listed next to each category are just examples. You can choose any equipment within your class.
- Further information will be given in a pm from me to you (as well as some hints and secrets for people who chose Confused, if they need them).
